How to write a research paper

We are going to share with you in this article the process of writing research paper. We are going to show you all the steps that you should know to write your research paper in an academically and effectively way.

Ø Step 1 :      choose a topic

The majority of students are confused when it comes to choose a topic. You should think about  choosing a topic you are interested in, simply because you will not feel bored in the process of reading and writing, because in this process you are going to discover new information and new ideas so, that means you will enjoy. Try to make your topic short and avoid narrow topics, and be sure that there are credible sources about topic.

Ø Step 2:   Write a Research Proposal

Ø Step 3:  Read, Read and Keep Reading

In this process you should to read more about topic you already have chosen. You should have background about it. Collect data from books, articles, magazines, it could be printed material or online materials.  As well as try to read a theory or theories that others made about the topic.

Ø Step 4:  Make a Good Outline

Now, you have some information about the topic, all what you have to do is to write an outline, this step is very important because it is like the map that will lead during the process. Write down all information you have  in your  notebook, writing  your outline  should include some important elements :

·        Tiles page

·        An abstract

·        An introduction

·        Methodology

·        Conclusion.

(Those elements could be different from supervisor to supervisor).

Ø Step 5:    Write the First Draft

In this process you should to organize the work. And make it in order then start writing the first draft. The first draft should include those elements:

·        Introduction

·        Body

·        Conclusion

 It is fine to remove; edit and add some information, also in this step you should know  which style you are going to use APA or AML and you have to know how use them  when it comes to add text citation, references and quotation.

Ø Step 6:     Revise

This is very important step because it the last part in writing process, you should revise the work or the give it to your friends or family members to revise it for you, because others will use their critical thinking and they could discover some errors or mistakes that you cannot pay attention to them. Also it fine in this process to add, omit or edit information, but you should ask for the permission from your supervisor.
